The Clash foi um grupo de punk rock britânico que durou de 1976 até 1985. Uma das bandas mais aclamadas pela crítica da época, o The Clash foi famoso por seu alcance musical (incorporavam reggae, rockabilly, e eventualmente muitos outros estilos musicais em seu repertório), por demonstrar uma sofisticação lírica e política que os distinguia da maioria de seus companheiros no movimento punk, e por suas explosivas apresentações ao vivo.
